About the role
- Drive sales in territory by developing & maintaining relationships with new and existing advisors through 1:1 calls, client events, training/education, group presentations, etc.
- Influence advisor choice through the use of a consultative process and other techniques/systems.
- Work with leader to research and manage territory to execute on sales plan.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal/external partners.
- Research and communicate industry changes and trends.
- Travel within territory to conduct in person 1:1 Advisor sales calls and client events.
- Represent WMS at National, Regional and Industry related meetings.
- Manage and develop systems to create efficiencies.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in financial services industry in a selling role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Series 7 required upon hire
- Series 63 & 65 (or 66), or the ability to acquire within 90 days
- Ability to travel (~25-35%) to support team and client needs and live within territory
