About the role
- Provide operational risk and controls thought leadership and expertise to the business unit.
- Lead the development of risk management strategies that drive identification, quantification and mitigation of risk within the business.
- Establish and lead a governance framework designed to monitor and ensure efficacy of operational risk management and process controls.
- Identify high risk processes and controls and build out a testing program to ensure these processes and controls are reviewed and tested throughout the year.
- Be the point person for risk events as they occur in the business unit.
- Provide oversight, guidance and leadership on KRI population and risk reporting.
Requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong ability to lead, partner and influence across leadership levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to drive results and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently.
