About the role
- Partner with Regional Director on recruiting efforts within an assigned territory.
- Proactively manage your region’s talent pipeline by guiding candidates through key stages of the recruiting process.
- Effectively engage your sourcing partners to deliver qualified leads for initial advisor meetings.
- Monitor and confirm contact occurs with each new lead.
- Maintain direct communication with sourcing partners to ensure there is a next step with every lead.
- Conduct Initial Meetings with candidates and articulate the Ameriprise value proposition.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and advisor movement to inform recruiting strategy.
Requirements
- 5-7 years' relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Series 7 Industry certifications e.g. CFP®, CRPC®
- Proactive mindset with the skill for identifying and addressing issues early
- Strong understanding of financial advisor community — their motivations, challenges, and aspirations
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously and drive results
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset
