About the role
- Support Life Product Development by drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts
- Drive timely state and federal regulatory approvals for new contracts and prospectuses
- Research laws and provide guidance for New Business, Underwriting, and Operations teams
Requirements
- Law Degree from an Accredited Law School
- At least 7 years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- At least 3-5 years of experience working for a life insurance company
- Solid experience working with state insurance and securities laws
- Ability to influence and develop strong working relationships
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organized with ability to work independently and in teams.
