About the role
- Provide guidance, coaching, and indirect leadership to peers in operational processes
- Research and resolve escalated Life and Annuity death claim issues via phone and email
- Assist in quality management processes and serve as a subject matter expert
- Ensure processing of transactions follow industry rules/regulations and internal compliance procedures
- Mentor peers and conduct training as needed
- Complete day-to-day operations processing tasks including auditing and transaction processing
- Utilize applications such as Fedline, PD Teller, WebCSR, Vision Archive
- Participate in projects and initiatives as the expert
Requirements
- High school or GED
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in a service call center or transaction processing
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships and influence others without having direct leadership accountability
