About the role
- Provide system administration with a focus on Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019 and Red Hat Linux 7
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of hardware and software systems within a SCADA/EMS real-time power operations system
- Ensure compliance with configuration management processes as required by the customer and industry standards
- Perform standard system administration duties, including account management, computer/server management, printer and resource shares
- Support and maintain hardware components such as Dell-EMC VxRail, Dell-EMC Data Domain, and HPE Proliant Gen 10 Servers
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in SCADA OR Systems Administration
- Familiarity with VMware ESXi, Dell-EMC VxRail, Dell-EMC Data Domain, and HPE Proliant Gen 10 servers
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with an emphasis on creating clear and comprehensive technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail when working with critical systems to ensure reliability and accuracy
- Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019
- Ability to work collaboratively on a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
