About the role
- Define and articulate the target state architecture for our marketing technology stack
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap that outlines the transition from the current state to the target state
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements and architectural designs
- Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including solution designs, data models, and integration maps
- Enforce architectural governance and standards
- Conduct a thorough assessment of the current state marketing technology landscape
- Create detailed documentation of the current state architecture
- Define and drive a consolidated set of data requirements to support all marketing processes and ensure data quality and consistency
- Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on architectural decisions and project priorities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Solution Architecture or similar role, with of marketing technology.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and data management platforms such as Data360.
- Strong understanding of enterprise and systems architecture principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and work with data at a detailed level as it is leveraged across end-to-end processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and executing a technology roadmap.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or other relevant Salesforce certifications (desired).
- Experience with other Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, and MuleSoft (desired).
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies (desired).
- Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment (desired).
