About the role

  • Define and articulate the target state architecture for our marketing technology stack
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap that outlines the transition from the current state to the target state
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements and architectural designs
  • Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including solution designs, data models, and integration maps
  • Enforce architectural governance and standards
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of the current state marketing technology landscape
  • Create detailed documentation of the current state architecture
  • Define and drive a consolidated set of data requirements to support all marketing processes and ensure data quality and consistency
  • Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on architectural decisions and project priorities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Solution Architecture or similar role, with of marketing technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and data management platforms such as Data360.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise and systems architecture principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and work with data at a detailed level as it is leveraged across end-to-end processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and executing a technology roadmap.
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or other relevant Salesforce certifications (desired).
  • Experience with other Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, and MuleSoft (desired).
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies (desired).
  • Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment (desired).
