About the role
- Responsible for the safe operation of assigned OPCO Storerooms & Laydown Yards
- Assist in identifying and coordinating training of assigned employees
- Work in a collaborative manner with Business Unit Partners to ensure material availability
- Supervise personnel and assist with activities involved in receiving, storing, and managing materials
- Promote and support a Zero Harm and a positive culture
- Foster collaboration with Business Unit Partners for material support
- Conduct annual site assessments
- Maintain professional working relationships with various groups
- Collaborate with Materials Management Team for proper inventories
- Assist with Laydown Yard operations
- Coordinate cycle inventory procedures and clear discrepancies
- Monitor expenses and maintain cost-efficient operations
- Ensure Lean and 6S practices adherence
- Support procedures directed by supervisor
Requirements
- Associate's degree in business administration or relevant supply chain operations discipline and two years of supply chain operations experience, at least one year of which must be supervisory experience
- If no degree, five years of supply chain related experience, at least one year of which must be supervisory experience
- At least one year supervisory experience as a Stores Supervisor is preferred
- Good working knowledge of the practices and procedures of the Company pertaining to the receiving, issuing, and storing of materials
- Ability and knowledge to work effectively with other departments of the Company
- Demonstrated ability to supervise employees; coordinate their work; receive, interpret, and provide direction
- Must be able to lead in a manner which obtains effective work results
- Must be available 24 X 7 to support emergency outage restoration efforts
