About the role
- Manage and grow the Multi-Asset Strategy Discipline of the Investment Division
- Provide strategic vision for product development, implementation and delivery of existing and new investment strategies
- Build and manage team of professionals
- Plan and develop new investment offerings
- Oversee and grow profitability of the unit
- Identify new areas for growth and profitability
- Represent ACI and MAS both internally and externally
- Create and deliver investment presentations to the Board, Management, Salesforce and other internal partners
- Established ability to appear on public media (e.g., CNBC, Bloomberg, etc.)
- Expert written and communication skills for print media
- Maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge in current economic and competitive trends in the industry
- Develop and lead the overall investment strategy across multi-asset portfolios
- Establish strategic and tactical asset allocation models based on macroeconomic outlooks, risk assessments, and client objectives
- Chair the investment committee and provide thought leadership on portfolio construction and innovation
- Oversee implementation and performance of multi-asset portfolios
- Manage rebalancing, risk budgeting, and dynamic asset allocation decisions
- Monitor global financial markets and economic trends to guide investment decisions
- Lead and mentor a high-performing investment team including asset class specialists and analysts
- Foster a culture of rigorous research, accountability, and collaboration
- Present portfolio performance, risks, and strategies to stakeholders, board members, and/or clients
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal investment policies
- Source, select, and oversee external asset managers across asset classes
- Conduct due diligence and ongoing evaluation of managers and investment products
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive investment experience with deep exposure to multi-asset portfolio management
- Experience in creating, managing, and overseeing quantitatively disciplined investment strategies
- Proven leadership experience in institutional asset management, wealth management, endowments/foundations, or similar
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance, or similar); CFA or CAIA designation preferred
- Expertise in asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity in the design and delivery of model portfolios for intermediary or retail markets
- Familiarity with ESG and sustainable investing frameworks is a plus
- Strategic thinking with a macro/multi-asset lens
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Decisive leadership under complex and dynamic market conditions
- Presentation skills for large and/or public audiences
- Commitment to fiduciary responsibility and investment excellence
