About the role

  • Lead and set the national strategic direction for ACS’s Access to Care programs.
  • Oversee implementation of access to care services, including program design, vendor and partner management, compliance, and evaluation.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams, including directors and senior directors.
  • Lead continuous innovation in access to care solutions by identifying trends, piloting new service models, and leveraging technology to close gaps in transportation, lodging, and navigation services.
  • Cultivate relationships with national partners, healthcare systems, community organizations, and advocacy groups.
  • Drive the development and integration of performance metrics and evaluation frameworks to assess impact, inform decisions, and position the Access to Care portfolio for mission investment and philanthropic growth.
  • Ensure alignment with ACS policies, contractual obligations, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred Degree: Master’s Degree
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible leadership in nonprofit health programs, access to care initiatives, or enterprise-level service delivery
  • Minimum 5 years of executive or senior leadership experience managing large teams, partnerships, and cross-sector initiatives
  • Proven ability leading complex, multi-site program portfolios and deliver measurable outcomes that improve access to care
  • Experience overseeing vendor relationships, high-impact partnerships, and community health programs, with strong financial and compliance acumen
