About the role
- Assist in drafting, updating, and standardizing safety plans across federal projects
- Manage version control, track revisions, and maintain centralized records
- Align documentation with OSHA, NAVFAC, and federal requirements
- Validate formatting, compliance language, and attachments before manager sign-off
- Track submission timelines and ensure audit-ready documentation
- Organize and distribute updated training materials
- Maintain audit-ready binders and coordinate with safety managers for external reviews
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of construction experience
- Ability to review confidential US security information
- Experience in federal contracting or O&M environments preferred
- Knowledge of Army Corps of Engineers QC and safety standards preferred
- Strong document management skills, ideally with Procore and EHS software preferred
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple document streams
- Excellent communication skills with safety managers, operations, and federal stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (including workflow automation), SharePoint, and related document management platforms
