About the role

  • Assist in drafting, updating, and standardizing safety plans across federal projects
  • Manage version control, track revisions, and maintain centralized records
  • Align documentation with OSHA, NAVFAC, and federal requirements
  • Validate formatting, compliance language, and attachments before manager sign-off
  • Track submission timelines and ensure audit-ready documentation
  • Organize and distribute updated training materials
  • Maintain audit-ready binders and coordinate with safety managers for external reviews
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of construction experience
  • Ability to review confidential US security information
  • Experience in federal contracting or O&M environments preferred
  • Knowledge of Army Corps of Engineers QC and safety standards preferred
  • Strong document management skills, ideally with Procore and EHS software preferred
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple document streams
  • Excellent communication skills with safety managers, operations, and federal stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (including workflow automation), SharePoint, and related document management platforms
