💰 $53 - $70 per hour

About the role

  • Work with Senior level designers to create equipment and piping models in SmartPlant S3D.
  • Coordination with other disciplines working in BIM models.
  • Work with piping engineering and designers and engineers in other disciplines as well as our teaming partner offices.
  • Deliver a fully coordinated and collaborated BIM project model.
  • Create design deliverables such as orthographic and isometric drawings.
  • Assist in interference detection and resolution.
  • Ensure proper integration with other SmartPlant tools such as SPID, SPEL and SPI.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 5+ years using BIM tools for Plant Design
  • Chemical process industrial mechanical/piping design experience
  • Nuclear piping design experience preferred
  • A general understanding of Piping Systems
  • 5 or more years of experience preferred.
  • Trade School or Associates Degree
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Exhibit integrity and the highest quality in all activities
  • Self-motivated, team-focused professional
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn new design software
  • Previous nuclear and chemical piping design experience
  • Attention to detail
