About the role

  • Supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.
  • Responsible for managing complex and diverse intra- and inter-departmental organizations.
  • Conducts staff integration and organization, and leads staff functions and coordination.
  • Formalizes the goals and objectives that achieve the IRES and Enterprise IT vision.
  • Recommends performance measures and priorities for activities and resources.
  • Supports the director and other department leaders to increase performance, collaboration, and problem solving.
  • Oversees strategic business initiatives from development to successful execution.
  • Plans and leads strategic initiatives from development through to execution.
  • Assists and communicates with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Reviews, designs, and executes improvements to organizational structure and processes.

Requirements

  • Must have 12, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
  • Must have at least 10 years of directly related experience leading a large organization(s)
  • Must have experience in strategic and operational planning with proven experience in organizing and directing multiple teams.
  • Must have experience in advising senior leadership, assisting in decision-making, and managing programs.
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Have a Master’s degree in Management or Leadership (desired)
  • Have a strong background with enterprise supply management and procurement (desired)
  • Have experience in managing cross-functional organizations across multiple domains (desired)
  • Have experience managing large and complex projects/programs/missions (desired)
  • Have experience in Space Operations or relevant combatant command experience in operations (desired)
  • Have experience working with the Missile Defense Agency (desired)
