About the role
- Lead the delivery and performance of the sub division, ensuring financial and operational objectives are achieved
- Partner with senior leadership to shape and implement ambitious business growth strategies (organic, partnerships, and M&A)
- Build and maintain strong client, partner, and supply chain relationships; secure new business opportunities and ensure delivery excellence
- Ensure transparent, ethical operations and adherence to corporate governance, risk, and compliance standards
- Promote the highest standards of safety, wellbeing, and ethical responsibility across all operations
- Strive for efficiency, the highest quality standards, and timely delivery across all activities to enhance overall performance
- Deliver strong performance across revenue, margin, cost management, and cash flow to achieve year-on-year NOM growth
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and talent development; implement succession and retention strategies; foster a high-performance culture
- Uphold and embody the organization's core values in daily operations, decision-making, and interactions with clients and colleagues
- Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and sustainability through innovative approaches and solutions, particularly in consultancy methodologies, data analytics, and service design
- Drive cross-functional teamwork, knowledge sharing, and joint accountability across projects and functions
- Build partnerships with academic, government, and industry stakeholders, such as our supply chain and potential partners
- Represent the organisation at client engagements, industry events, and external forums
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related field; advanced degree (e.g. MBA) preferred
- Significant senior leadership experience within complex, project-driven organisations
- Proven track record of growing revenue and profitability through strong client delivery
- Experience managing large cross-functional teams and embedding governance frameworks
- Strong financial acumen and experience in strategic planning and delivery
- Demonstrated success in building enduring client and stakeholder relationships
- Extensive experience in Engineering Projects and Scientific research/testing in regulated industries
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical teams and facilities
- Deep technical knowledge with strong commercial awareness
