About the role

  • Own the deals that drive AMDT’s growth.
  • Lead high-value, complex bids and RFPs across AMDT’s global markets.
  • Own the full bid lifecycle for enterprise and regulated opportunities (€500K+).
  • Convert pipeline into predictable ARR while improving proposal quality, speed, and win rates.
  • Ensure every proposal delivers a clear, standardized value proposition, a robust commercial structure, and full compliance.
  • Build a disciplined win/loss engine to give leadership clear insight into why deals are won or lost.
  • Manage post-submission phases: clarifications, BAFOs, Q&A, and sales presentation coaching.
  • Act as the guardian of AMDT’s value propositions, aligned to ICP/ISP, vertical, persona, and regulatory context.
  • Build and maintain a controlled library of approved proposal modules (ROI models, compliance artifacts, case studies, executive summaries).
  • Continuously improve bid processes, templates, approvals, and compliance controls.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in bid management, proposal management, or deal desk roles within B2B enterprise software, ideally in industrial software, OT/IT, or cybersecurity.
  • Proven track record managing complex bids (€500K+) with multiple stakeholders and formal procurement processes.
  • Strong commercial acumen — comfortable structuring scalable ARR deals while protecting margins.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and disciplined deadline management.
  • A builder mindset: you don’t just run bids, you design systems that scale.
  • Hands-on AI fluency — practical experience using tools like GPT, Copilot, or Claude to accelerate drafting, compliance mapping, and analysis.
  • Outstanding proposal writing skills, able to translate technical depth into executive-level business outcomes.
  • Fluent English; German strongly preferred due to the importance of the DACH market.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM.
