About the role
- Key contact for assigned accounts within a territory providing tactical sales direction and communication strategies
- Implement business and marketing plans for assigned accounts focused on growth and increasing share of wallet
- Drive sales goals including profitable year-over-year growth for assigned territory
- Increase business with existing and new accounts through prospecting and networking
- Assist in key business negotiations supporting Amcor’s interests
- Build relationships with customers and cross-functional teams to support commercialization and onboarding
- Network externally with co-packers, machine suppliers, OEMs, industry associations
- Coordinate Sales Management, R&D, Marketing and Field Service for validation and customer trials
- Manage accounts receivable with assistance from credit department
- Work with Strategic Marketing on unmet customer needs and implement defined strategy
- Report performance achievements and drive forecast accuracy; manage Account Planning, Pipeline, profitability improvements, and churn in CRM tool
Requirements
- Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability
- Experience with negotiations
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ years relevant experience in technical, sales and general management, preferably within the packaging industry
- Ability to travel domestically & internationally 60% of time
