About the role

  • Build, design, and maintain robust front-end applications leveraging a tech stack that primarily includes JavaScript, Node.js, and Nunjucks.
  • Interface with Java Spring Boot-backed microservices, ensuring seamless communication between front-end and backend services in a container-based architecture.
  • Implement features that interact directly with NoSQL databases, with a preference for Amazon DocumentDB.
  • Utilise supporting AWS services, including IAM, SQS, S3, Secrets Management, and KMS.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and QA engineers, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve processes and share knowledge.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in JavaScript and Node.js with experience in Nunjucks templating preferred.
  • Familiarity with interfacing front-end solutions with Java Spring Boot microservices.
  • Experience in implementing features in NoSQL database environments, preferably Amazon DocumentDB.
  • High-level understanding and practical experience with AWS services like IAM, SQS, S3, Secrets Management, and KMS.
  • Optional exposure to Gov.CASA frontend implementation.
