About the role
- Prospect New Clients: Identify and approach potential clients who align with the company’s strategy.
- Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with major accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and the retention of supply contracts.
- Sales Tracking: Monitor and report on sales progress, using team tools and reports to ensure targets are met.
- Consultative Sales: Conduct complex, consultative sales by understanding customer needs and offering appropriate solutions that align with AUTODOC products.
- Interaction and Networking: Build and maintain relationships with senior-level executives, presenting proposals and solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Demand Management: Manage existing demand with resilience and an understanding that immediate sales may not always occur; the focus should be on building long-term relationships.
Requirements
- Experience with consultative, complex, and long-cycle sales.
- Knowledge of products and services related to the construction industry.
- Proven sales experience in the construction sector, with emphasis on dry construction (lightweight/drywall systems).
- Strong Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
- Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and challenges while maintaining motivation and focus on goals.
- Flexibility: Adapt to different situations and demands, adjusting approaches as needed.
- Proactivity and Self-Responsibility: Strong sense of ownership over results and willingness to take initiative to achieve targets.
