About the role
- You will guide the Product Marketing Management (PMM – Product Marketing Management) function for the Airline Solutions (AIR) product portfolio.
- This is an important strategic role, shaping a viable portfolio strategy across different horizons to support growth objectives for Airline Solutions.
- The role is grounded in a market‑ and customer‑informed approach and close collaboration with Travel Unit business lines, following the Product Lifecycle (PLC – Product Lifecycle) framework.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across regions and central functions (including Product Management, Commercial Finance, Travel Unit Marketing, Revenue Management Systems (RMS), and others), as well as with stakeholders from airline customers and the broader industry.
- The role covers the full Altea and Nevio portfolios.
Requirements
- Guide the portfolio‑level PMM strategy for AIR by articulating differentiated value propositions, competitive positioning, and solution narratives aligned with the move‑to‑solutions vision and portfolio horizons.
- Contribute to sales and revenue objectives through clear positioning and commercially sound portfolio strategies.
- Work in close collaboration with the Head of PMM to advance strategic initiatives aligned with enterprise Objectives and Key Results (eOKR – Enterprise Objectives and Key Results).
- Define airline offerings, including go‑to‑market (GTM – Go‑to‑Market) narratives, pricing approaches, and value propositions that regional teams can apply in sales activities.
- Support contract standardization for new portfolios (including Nevio and future solutions) in partnership with Legal.
- Act as a primary point of collaboration with other business lines (Air Operations, Outpayce, Travel Distribution, and others) to align approaches that enable solution compatibility and integration.
- Partner with Product Management to ensure market‑backed prioritization and that transversal enablers (such as data assets, application programming interfaces (APIs), and security) are reflected in propositions and content.
- Support Product Lifecycle (PLC) initiatives and portfolio transitions.
- Ensure high‑quality launch delivery, including release narratives, customer value proof points, marketing assets, and regional rollout plans (Account Management, Pre‑Sales, Customer Success Management (CSM)).
- Translate insights into portfolio epics and PMM priorities aligned with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe – Scaled Agile Framework) and PLC ways of working.
- Represent AIR PMM in portfolio boards, architecture and data forums, and PLC/SAFe ceremonies.
- Ensure PMM artifacts are integrated into Program Increment (PI – Program Increment) planning and release trains, including readiness, messaging, and proof points.
- Coordinate with Creation Platform and transversal teams to align PMM deliverables with platform capabilities and data office guidelines.
- Guide and develop the AIR PMM portfolio team by setting clear objectives, providing coaching, and fostering engagement and ownership.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product leaders across TRU to advance move‑to‑solutions initiatives and shared priorities.
