About the role
- Demonstrates advanced expertise in Sales and Catering Software, especially Delphi, and understands its impact on the hospitality industry.
- Effectively communicates the software’s value to hospitality professionals.
- Influences decisions within their scope of work, anticipates dependencies and outcomes in complex situations, contributes to cross-functional projects, and recommends process improvements.
- Takes ownership of both personal and team commitments.
- Operates independently according to plans set by their manager, seeking guidance only for the most complex issues.
- Collaborates with the Director of Sales to prepare long-term sales forecasts and develop solutions based on customer feedback.
- Builds and nurtures relationships with top-level executives to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Assesses customer needs and prepares tailored business proposals.
- Coordinates and participates in RFP/RFI responses and manages follow-up activities.
- Promotes and sells products, services, and solutions through direct engagement, events, and roadshows.
- Delivers sales presentations to senior management and demonstrates products.
- Conducts demonstrations of all Sales & Catering solutions.
- Partners with the Director of Sales to determine optimal solutions for customers and timing for sales opportunities.
- Manages negotiations through to closure.
- Maintains awareness of market trends and competitive intelligence.
- Receives guidance as needed and continues to develop higher-level skills and expertise in their area of specialization.
Requirements
- Has experience using Sales & Catering software-preferred using Delphi
- Can effectively communicate the software’s value to hospitality professionals.
- Team player
