About the role

  • Partner with Managers: Support leaders in addressing performance and behavioral issues early and effectively.
  • Performance Improvement Plans: Guide managers in drafting and executing objective, actionable, and supportive PIPs.
  • Employee Support: Offer balanced guidance and resources to employees navigating performance processes.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure employee relations matters are thoroughly documented and compliant with company policy.
  • Training & Education: Deliver and support training for managers on performance management and documentation best practices.
  • Policy & Employment Law Knowledge: Stay current on U.S. employment laws and Alteryx policies.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of direct experience in employee relations/performance management.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII.
  • Exposure to Canadian employment laws a plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills; able to influence and coach managers and employees with empathy and confidence.
  • Proven ability to manage confidential, sensitive, and complex situations with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with ER case management system a plus.
  • Experience facilitating or supporting manager training is a plus.
