About the role
- Partner with Managers: Support leaders in addressing performance and behavioral issues early and effectively.
- Performance Improvement Plans: Guide managers in drafting and executing objective, actionable, and supportive PIPs.
- Employee Support: Offer balanced guidance and resources to employees navigating performance processes.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure employee relations matters are thoroughly documented and compliant with company policy.
- Training & Education: Deliver and support training for managers on performance management and documentation best practices.
- Policy & Employment Law Knowledge: Stay current on U.S. employment laws and Alteryx policies.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of direct experience in employee relations/performance management.
- Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII.
- Exposure to Canadian employment laws a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills; able to influence and coach managers and employees with empathy and confidence.
- Proven ability to manage confidential, sensitive, and complex situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with ER case management system a plus.
- Experience facilitating or supporting manager training is a plus.
