About the role
- Design cloud and SaaS architectures in line with our IT strategy and define technical guardrails for new solutions
- Assess incoming requirements for technological fit, integration capability and strategic relevance
- Produce architecture diagrams, data flow models and API designs — clear, traceable and pragmatic
- Manage and provide technical guidance to implementation partners together with our IT project managers
- Market and technology radar: analyze new software solutions, including evaluation of security, performance and long-term viability
- Maintain the application landscape, identify redundancies and technical debt
- Contribute to the development of architecture governance, security design and automation approaches (e.g., Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Identity & Access).
Requirements
- Several years of experience designing and integrating cloud or SaaS systems, preferably on Azure
- Familiarity with data flows, API management, eventing, authentication and automation
- Background as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead or Senior Consultant with technical responsibility
- Ability to present complex architectural topics clearly and document decisions comprehensively
- Strong communication and advisory skills when engaging with business units, management and partners
- Structured working style with a focus on pragmatic, fit-for-purpose solutions.
