About the role

  • Design, configuration and maintenance of secure network connections at our assets
  • Administration, monitoring and optimization of IT and OT infrastructure (networks, routers, switches)
  • Ensuring system availability and security in hybrid IT/OT environments
  • Applying patches, updates, backups and system hardening
  • Implementing cybersecurity measures in accordance with IEC 62443 and ISO 27001
  • Supporting projects for digitalization, automation and network monitoring
  • Analyzing and resolving faults
  • Documenting networks, systems and processes
  • Supporting the implementation of a network control system to monitor our assets

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, network engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Experience administering IT and OT systems in industrial or power/energy environments
  • Good knowledge of networking (routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, firewalls)
  • Familiarity with IT/OT security standards (IEC 62443, NIS2, ISO 27001)
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, Modbus TCP is an advantage
  • Experience with SCADA systems and wind farm controllers is desirable
  • Analytical thinking, structured working style and team orientation
  • Driver's license (Class B)
  • Good German and English language skills
