About the role
- Lead, develop and support the HR Business Partner team (m/f/d) at our German locations
- Implement global and regional HR strategies while taking into account local requirements and business needs
- Provide strategic HR advice to leaders on all people-related matters, particularly performance and employee relations
- Oversee talent and succession planning through regular talent reviews and individual development plans
- Coach leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities and support change processes
- Develop and implement initiatives to increase employee engagement, satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with works councils on an equal footing, including negotiating and implementing works council agreements
- Ensure compliance with employment law, internal policies and HR best practices across all business areas in Germany
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education or a comparable field
- At least five years of professional experience in HR, with part of that time in a leadership role
- Solid knowledge of German labor law and experience working with works councils, including negotiating and implementing works council agreements
- Practical experience in performance management, talent development and employee retention
- Experience managing change and supporting transformation phases
- Confident working with international, interdisciplinary HR structures and project teams
- Strong communication and advisory skills and a professional approach to diverse stakeholders
- High level of personal responsibility, solution orientation and intercultural sensitivity
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Willingness to travel within Germany, particularly in Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse
