About the role

  • We are looking for a Junior Accountant (m/f/d) to support our day-to-day operations and take on responsibilities within our finance team.
  • Support the accounting team with all tasks related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payments and dunning/collections.
  • The main focus is processing incoming invoices.
  • In addition, take care of various daily accounting tasks.
  • Help ensure that our monthly and annual financial statements are completed on time and take responsibility for smaller projects within our finance team.
  • Act as a point of contact for other departments on accounting-related matters.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed training or a degree in a relevant commercial/financial field.
  • Initial professional experience in financial accounting.
  • Preferably experience in a tax consultancy or audit firm.
  • Experienced and highly proficient accountants looking for a new challenge are also very welcome.
  • Ideally, initial practical experience with DATEV and Docuware or other workflow/document management systems.
  • Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Team player with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Very good German language skills.
