About the role
- Manage the full commercial sales lifecycle including prospecting, discovery, solution development, proposal creation, negotiation, and contract execution
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, targeted outreach, industry events, and strategic partnerships
- Conduct site evaluations and collaborate with technical teams to develop solar and battery storage project concepts
- Develop financial models and proposals that communicate project economics, incentives, and return on investment
- Build relationships with senior decision makers including executives, property owners, and operations leaders
- Lead negotiations and guide enterprise clients through contracting and project development stages
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer records in CRM systems
- Coordinate project handoff to internal operations and project management teams following contract execution
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in construction, renewable energy, HVAC, or related infrastructure industries
- Experience selling complex technical or financial solutions with long sales cycles
- Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and guide enterprise-level decision processes
- Experience preparing proposals, pricing strategies, and financial models for commercial projects
- Comfortable working independently while managing a large sales pipeline
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or related field preferred
