About the role
- Lead manual testing across web, desktop, Android and iOS apps.
- Plan and execute exploratory / regression tests across all Alohi products.
- Write and maintain clear test plans, test cases and check-lists.
- Design, prioritise and implement automation scripts for smoke & regression suites (e.g. Playwright, XCTest).
- Own defect lifecycle: discovery, tracking, triage, verification and reporting.
- Champion QA best practices in CI/CD pipelines; maintain test data and environments.
- Define and monitor QA KPIs (pass-rate, escaped defects, mean-time-to-fix).
- Facilitate release readiness reviews with PMs & Engineering Leads.
- Continuously improve tools & processes; evaluate buy-vs-build test solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years professional QA experience in a product-focused tech company.
- Proven manual testing on web, desktop, Android and iOS platforms.
- Hands-on exposure to automation frameworks and basic scripting (JS/Python/Bash).
- Solid grasp of QA methodologies (black-box, white-box, regression, performance, security).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum squads; comfortable using Jira, Testim, Confluence.
- Excellent written & verbal communication; able to impact engineers and PMs.
