About the role
- Define strategic direction for brand, retail, and project campaigns
- Identify insights that drive the business
- Translate briefs into clear strategic directions
- Manage a team of 1 supervisor and 1 assistant
- Delegate intelligently, develop the team, and ensure deliverables
- Develop presentations that convey strategy in a coherent and impactful way
- Present and defend strategies directly to clients
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in planning/strategy at advertising agencies; retail experience is a plus.
- Ability to integrate with other departments (Account Service, Creative, Media)
- Proven experience building clear and persuasive strategic narratives
- Understanding of research tools, market analysis, and consumer behavior
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite and Keynote
- Agility: Quickly grasps situations, accelerates execution, and makes confident decisions without losing a sense of priority.
- Strategic intelligence: Knows how to separate the essential from the superfluous
- Sharp communication: Sells ideas clearly, whether in a deck or face-to-face
