About the role
- Investigate and confirm the facts of loss for automobile accidents
- Determine coverage, liability, damages and adjust and negotiate claims within authority
- Handle basic investigation regarding most aspects of auto claims (coverage, liability and damages)
- Apply a basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company
- Partner to determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
- Begin recognizing and identifying body parts of a vehicle and other potential property damage
- Identify customer needs and work to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
Requirements
- 0-2 years experience (Preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience investigating automobile accidents and confirming facts of loss
- Ability to determine coverage, liability, and damages
- Basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company
- Basic understanding of insurance policies written by the company and the industry
- Ability to recognize and identify vehicle body parts and other potential property damage
- Ability to partner to determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
- Authorization to work in the United States (employer will not sponsor work visas)
- Preferably located in CST or EST time zones
