About the role
- Provide comprehensive assistance with fund formation, onboarding, fund filings, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters
- Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Manage and assist with the formation of investment vehicles
- Assist with investor onboarding, inquiries, and requests
- Draft, review, and maintain legal documentation
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members on various projects
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant (in-house or at a law firm)
- Specific exposure to private funds, investment management, and applicable SEC regulations
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA Accredited paralegal training program strongly preferred
