About the role

  • Provide comprehensive support to the General Counsel EMEA by reviewing a wide range of standard contracts, including IT agreements, procurement contracts, NDAs, business agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and continuously monitor relevant legislative and regulatory developments to ensure business compliance.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and implementing internal legal and compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Support the creation, enhancement, and rollout of legal and compliance training materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to drafting, maintaining, and improving contract templates to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment with current legal requirements.

Requirements

  • A Master degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent) from a recognized European university.
  • Admission to a Bar Association within Europe is preferred.
  • Around 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Experience in areas such as IT contracts, commercial contracts, corporate law, compliance, data protection (GDPR) is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in English and Latvian, written and spoken, is required.
  • Any other language is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multicultural, and cross‑functional environment (Legal, Compliance, R&D, Procurement, Business).
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
