About the role
- Performs a variety of engineering tasks with oversight
- Plans or designs in support of construction, operations, and maintenance of gas transmission and distribution systems
- Follows safety rules and practices
- Identifies problems and suggests safety improvements
- Learns to make low-risk decisions using technical knowledge
- Establishes relationships with employees, contractors, and stakeholders
- Prepares detailed project documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited program
- Previous technical and/or professional experience (preferred)
- An internship or co-op in engineering (preferred)
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and inclusive work environment
- Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and project management).
