About the role
- Design, development and implement assigned application development projects
- Develop, modify, and maintain applications or specialized utility programs
- Analyze business needs and develop software solutions for public or internal use to optimize member experience, system stability and operational efficiency
- Development of full lifecycle applications to include technical design, implementation, testing and maintenance
- Conduct detailed analysis of system interactions to determine technical solutions and resolve problems
- Utilize project management techniques in planning, estimating, controlling and completing multiple high-level assignments/projects
- Elicit meaningful technical requirements to address business needs
- Identify problems and determine corrective action including development of custom programs when appropriate
- Work with other technical support functions to troubleshoot complex problems and member service issues
- Identify and implement solutions related to production level code defects or process changes
- Train and mentor other team members on operational procedures and processes
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree - Computer Science or Related
- Minimum 5 Years - Application Development or Related
- Minimum 1 Year - Project Management
- Experience in platforms such as Episys/Symitar
- .NET and structured programming concepts, architecture and process enhancement
- Microsoft Certification - Preferred
- In Lieu of Education: 8 years - Application Development within an Agile Environment
