About the role

  • Collaborate with the CCSP Manager and Director, CCSP Operations to support team objectives and goals
  • Assist in data collection and in-depth research on giving trends and donor engagement to support CCSP’s annual budget planning process
  • Support the workplace giving team by leading an annual research project on current giving trends and overall landscape analysis to help inform strategy
  • Participate in strategy conversations with UUSA’s priority workplace giving partners by helping to gather information and supporting on identified next steps
  • Help develop toolkits, project proposals, guides, and other collateral to support employee engagement opportunities and offerings available at UUSA
  • Provide occasional partner/prospect support to relationship managers including attending meetings, reviewing and editing collateral, or supporting internal tasks
  • Assist colleagues across the department to facilitate special projects and events

Requirements

  • Must be a current student enrolled in a College or University degree program
  • Interest in research and reporting, data analysis, and nonprofit management or related field preferred
  • Must have experience with community organizing, volunteer management, and a passion for inspiring others (extracurricular activities, leaders of clubs, etc.)
  • Successful candidate must also have a demonstrated interest in and knowledge of children's rights and international issues, as well as a commitment to public service
  • The ideal candidate will be resourceful and energetic, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to lead effective presentations with ease in public speaking for large and small groups
  • Experience and/or exposure to corporate CSR/philanthropy is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written; experience working with cross-country teams a plus
  • Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is preferred
  • Must possess current and valid US Work Authorization and be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
