About the role
- Managing bank statements - posting and reconciliation.
- Reconciliation of data from analytical reports and subledger with postings in the general ledger.
- General ledger postings - preparation and posting of journals.
- Preparation of documents/files to confirm the correctness of the balances and P&L amounts.
- Participation in the month-closing process.
- Evidence of purchases invoices regarding company's assets.
- Entering fixed assets/intangible assets into the accounting records.
- Reconciliation of fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the business unit general ledgers.
- Evidence of asset capitalization, asset depreciation and retirement.
- Record of disposal and movement of assets.
- Preparation of data for reporting purposes and audits.
- Interaction with external and internal auditors.
- Verification of bookkeeping in terms of tax regulations.
- Cooperation with internal departments in the whole group (work in international environment).
- Support of Senior Specialists/Manager on a daily tasks.
- Support of Senior Specialists/Manager in preparation of tax returns and the financial statements.
- Provide periodic and ad hoc reporting for higher level personnel or for project purposes.
Requirements
- Deep understanding and practical application of accounting rules.
- Knowledge of SAP system (navigation) and proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace.
- High level of accuracy in processing financial data.
- University degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Finance Department or an outsourcing company is considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Polish (C1) and English (B2) is required.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Ownership, reliability, and excellent cooperation skills.
