About the role

  • Execute and support global manufacturing strategy, including transition and footprint initiatives
  • Support large capital investment initiatives: identify, evaluate, and create business case justifications for new technologies
  • Create and maintain capacity and utilization plans
  • Lead/support facility consolidations, start-ups, product/process transitions, and process optimization
  • Develop and implement fabrication and assembly processes with appropriate automation
  • Support manufacturing through process digitization and Manufacturing 4.0 implementations
  • Ensure new products are released with adequate manufacturability; participate in critical NPD projects
  • Support mergers and acquisitions by evaluating operational risks
  • Champion Total Productive Maintenance across machinery, tools and facilities
  • Collaborate with Procurement on make vs. buy processes, assessments, and playbooks
  • Partner with manufacturing facilities to improve efficiency and implement standard work and best practices

Requirements

  • BS / ME / EE / B Eng. degree in engineering or a related field required
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Industrial, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Electronics background
  • 5-10 years total combined relevant integrated supply chain experience (minimum 5 years)
  • 5+ years relevant Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) experience preferred
  • Proven experience in core–non-core evaluation
  • Capacity and utilization analysis experience
  • Cost analysis experience, including make vs. buy
  • New Product Introductions (NPI/NPD) experience
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience and on-site implementation support
  • Capital investment management experience
  • Facility relocations experience (Greenfield, Brownfield, relocation, decommissioning)
  • Operations management and project/program management experience
  • Data analytics and analysis skills
  • Understanding of global materials management and supply chain/logistics management
  • Understanding of manufacturing engineering processes and trends
  • Ability to manage multiple global projects
  • Demonstrated project leadership and ability to influence at multiple levels
  • Experience improving manufacturing footprint utilization / rationalization
  • Demonstrated drive for results in a global matrix organization
  • Strong relationship building, teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States; company will not provide visa sponsorship
