About the role

  • Create and sustain a safe work environment by developing leaders who proactively identify, address, and prevent safety risks.
  • Build leadership capability through coaching, regular feedback, individualized development plans, and targeted assignments aligned to organizational needs.
  • Establish and maintain effective staffing plans by developing leaders who align talent deployment with business and operational objectives.
  • Hold leaders accountable to commitments by reinforcing ownership, standard work adherence, MDI consistency, and operational metrics.
  • Develop leaders who drive in-process quality by identifying defects, leading root-cause problem solving, and reducing cost of poor quality while improving customer outcomes.
  • Ensure operational performance by developing leaders who lead daily Gemba walks and apply Lean principles to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement by developing leaders who lead A3s, Kaizen events, and sustain visual management and 5S standards.
  • Act as a proactive change agent by developing leaders who partner cross-functionally and model Allegion values in daily operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
  • Required 5+ Years of Manufacturing Experience, 7+ years of Leadership Experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams of hourly and salaried employees, driving operational excellence and team engagement.
  • Experience in applying Kaizen/PDCA approaches while utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools to drive improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, influence, and develop others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear and timely communication with organizational team members regarding delivery constraints and execution strategies.
  • Experience in high-energy, dynamic workplaces, balancing operational demands and strategic execution.
