About the role
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and goals.
- Generate leads and identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold-calling.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects to move them through the sales cycle to closure.
- Develop and manage client relationships with key prospects and existing customers to maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development teams, to align the sales and go-to-market strategies.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to the executive leadership team.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, sales quotas, and sales forecasting models.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition to ensure the company's competitive edge.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and sales, selling SaaS solutions.
- 2-5 years of selling in the new home industry selling into sales & marketing departments at the VP or Director level
- Proptech experience is preferred
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and goals.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and lead generation tactics.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and remotely with the ability to travel 20%-40%.
