Assist the Manager of Scheduling to build and maintain the flight schedule for the airline.
Maintain existing schedule by adjusting as operational needs, charter program needs, resource changes (aircraft, crews), and other external factors require.
Analyze and maximize profitability of limited resources (aircraft, crews) when maintaining and building new schedules to create the best possible schedule for customers and the airline.
Collaborate with Planning and Revenue team to optimize commercial goals.
Send communications on behalf of scheduling and responding to other departments' questions and requests.
Generate and update analysis and reports, leveraging solid Excel in modeling skills, for various levels of management.
Work with cross-functional groups in a collaborative environment on various projects and tasks.
Perform ad-hoc analysis.
Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.
Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
Education Details: Preferred with emphasis in Airline Operation, Airline Management, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
Microsoft Excel proficiency.
High attention to detail.
Excellent logic, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated to continually improve upon past performance.
Highly organized with an ability to manage time effectively to meet timelines across multiple projects.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to solicit and process feedback from various departments.

One (1) year of previous airline, airport, or transportation industry experience. (Preferred)
Strong systems skills. (Preferred)
Ability to solve complex problems in a logical fashion, balancing both commercial and operational requirements. (Preferred)
Aptitude for thinking ‘outside the box’ and find creative solutions. (Preferred)
Interest in the airline and/or transportation industry. (Preferred)
Experience with VBA, Python, or SQL. (Preferred)
Some familiarity with IT and/or programming concepts. (Preferred)
