Oversees the execution of the Quality Control program established and approved at Allegiant Air
Responsible for maintenance, assurance all RII are accomplished, and all special inspections
Supervises and directs all inspection personnel assigned to the Quality Control Department
Ensures compliance with applicable technical publications and provides technical guidance in maintenance on all aircraft
Responsible for the final acceptance of all incoming material
Ensures the proper tagging and identification of all parts
Responsible for the inspection and return to service of all certified aircraft undergoing periodic inspection
Monitors accuracy and completion of work documents used during maintenance
Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986
High School Diploma/GED
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field preferred
A&P License
Minimum 10 years of Transport Category Part 121 in Maintenance or equivalent Part 135 Carrier, Military, Part 145 or part 121/135 Aircraft
Minimum 5 years of Line/Maintenance with QC or RIA
At least 2 years of leadership with direct reports in a Maintenance capacity
1 year of Transport Category Part 121 Inspector or Lead Authorized ATMs performing inspections
Experience and/or qualification in at least one non-destructive testing technique (Engine Borescope, Eddy Current, Ultrasound, Magnetic Particle, Florescent Penetrant)
Experience working on Airbus A320 family aircraft and CFM 56 engines
Proficient with MS Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Effective communicator, both written and verbally.
Team builder with proven leadership skills.
Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, journals, manuals, and reports
Proven decision maker with regards to resources, performance, and regulatory constraints.
