About the role
- Support a coalition dedicated to preventing election sabotage and represent All Voting in state and national pro-democracy coalitions
- Manage relationships horizontally across the coalition
- Connect national, state, and local experts, resources, and capacity
- Undertake scenario planning/tabletop exercises to prepare for critical election emergencies that could significantly delay or disrupt voting, vote counting, or the certification of the election
- Spearhead and organize approximately 2-3 convenings per year and manage logistics
- Create, build, develop, and maintain relationships with state-, county-, and municipality-level elected officials, election officials, and partners to grow the coalition
- Provide press support as needed to the Nevada State Director
- Monitor activity of extremist groups and legal election cases
Requirements
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in organizing, campaigns, voting rights, or civil rights coalition work
- Strong project management experience
- Ability to convene multiple partners with competing priorities around a shared mission or goal, while meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
