Director

• Lead and supervise State Directors
• Directly supervise and coach a team of State Directors, providing strategic guidance, executive-level support, and accountability.
• Serve as a thought partner to State Directors as they navigate complex political environments, coalition dynamics, campaign strategy, organizational growth, and team leadership.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, shared learning, and continuous leadership development across all state programs.
• Ensure consistency in leadership practices, planning, execution, and evaluation across state programs while allowing flexibility for state-specific strategies.
• Help State Directors identify emerging opportunities, risks, and strategic pivots throughout election and legislative cycles.
• Support directors in making high-impact decisions involving campaign priorities, coalition strategy, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Partner closely with Communications, Policy & Analytics, Development, Operations, and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure state work advances organizational priorities.
• Translate national organizational priorities into coordinated state-level implementation.
• Identify opportunities for cross-state collaboration and shared strategies.
• Help establish department priorities, annual goals, and operational plans.
• Identify organizational gaps and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and collaboration.
• Serve as a senior organizational representative in national and regional democracy coalitions, partner convenings, funder meetings, and strategic tables.
• Build and maintain relationships with key coalition partners, movement organizations, and allied stakeholders.
• Partner with State Directors to develop sophisticated campaign strategies that combine legislative advocacy, communications, and coalition building.
• Help evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities to scale successful approaches across states.
• Provide department approvals and reporting.
• Monitor state program performance, budgets, and staffing in partnership with Finance and Operations.
• Ensure appropriate compliance practices and identify issues requiring legal or executive review.

Regional Director – Campaigns & Programs

Manager

• Lead a state coalition dedicated to preventing election sabotage and represent All Voting in state pro-democracy coalitions: Create, build, develop, and maintain relationships with state-, county-, and municipality-level elected officials, election officials, and partners to grow the coalition.
• Serve as policy expert for media and electeds who have questions about election-sabotage-related topics (e.g.: vote counting, certification, etc.)
• Connect electeds and election officials to partner orgs (and vice versa) when it makes sense.
• Implement, develop & execute campaign plans to educate and activate coalition partners and other stakeholders in support of election administration reform.
• Identify, monitor, and share information concerning likely threats within “threat counties” and “watch counties” that could lead to democratic backsliding, such as delayed election results, etc.
• Track legislation, create trainings on impacts of negative legislation, develop policy fixes, and lead legislative strategy.
