About the role
- Analyze business challenges and identify stakeholders’ network infrastructure needs;
- Propose innovative, secure and scalable technological solutions to effectively support activities and projects;
- Deliver cross-functional telecommunications projects, fostering a climate of collaboration and promoting operational excellence;
- Collect, model and provide key information to management to guide decisions and strategies related to network infrastructure;
- Maintain advanced expertise in cutting-edge technologies to anticipate future developments and needs;
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate recurring or complex tasks and activities, thereby reducing human error and improving efficiency;
- Set up code pipelines to facilitate the deployment of infrastructure as code (IaC) in a continuous, uniform and modular manner;
- Communicate effectively, demonstrate team spirit and be proactive.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field;
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the network technology and infrastructure sector;
- Certification and experience in network management in cloud environments, primarily on AWS;
- Certification and practical expertise in network technologies such as switches, routers, Cisco and Check Point firewalls, ISE, VPN, load balancers, DNS, proxy and QoS;
- Expertise in implementing Agile and DevOps practises to ensure fast, high-quality deliveries;
- Expertise in deploying, configuring, optimizing and homogenizing complex and heterogeneous networks;
- Proficiency in network diagnostic and monitoring tools such as Wireshark, Zabbix, LogicMonitor and Splunk;
- Experience in developing automation tools using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and in Python development;
- In-depth knowledge of various network and routing protocols and how they interact in the deployment of applications and services (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF);
- Proficiency in analyzing network trends for capacity planning and proactive fault detection.
