About the role

  • Develop and execute network strategy to expand and optimize a high-performing Direct Provider Network
  • Drive network expansion across existing and emerging markets
  • Lead contracting strategy and financial performance
  • Manage financial planning related to network costs and provider contracts
  • Lead and manage all aspects of Direct Network recruitment
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes
  • Foster deep and sustained engagement with Direct Network providers
  • Hire, mentor, and manage a team of network management professionals
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and OKRs related to Direct Network recruitment
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and contractual requirements
  • Partner with regional GMs, Finance, Clinical, and Operations teams

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership with experience in healthcare network strategy
  • Familiarity with supporting primary care transformation and risk-bearing provider entities
  • Multi-market network development experience
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of primary care dynamics, value-based care principles, and the role of PCPs in population health management
  • Proven track record of building and contracting with diverse provider networks
  • Experience with designing and implementing value-based care programs focused on quality, patient experience, and total cost of care
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and lead in a matrixed environment
  • Strong data analysis, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience working in or with health plans, provider organizations, or quality-focused healthcare settings in the Medicare Advantage space
