About the role

  • Assessing situations with a broad view, develop and implement strategic approaches
  • Administering benefit plans and providing subject matter expertise to client
  • Understanding unique benefit plan structure with complex eligibility and apply specific benefit rules
  • Using Excel skills to match, reconcile, analyze, identify potential issues, and/or create custom reports from multiple data files and sources
  • Reviewing client requests and determine best approach to meet client needs
  • Tracking and completing weekly, monthly quarterly and annual processes to ensure completion and accuracy
  • Assisting participants with eligibility issues and inquiries
  • Researching requests and provide accurate and timely responses
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities

Requirements

  • Possess bachelor or equivalent work experience required
  • Possess analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Able to quickly master and apply new concepts
  • Possess project and client management experience
  • Possess intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Able to adapt with changing priorities in results-oriented environment
  • Possess four or more years of professional office work experience
  • Possess two or more years of Benefits (ideally Health and Welfare) experience
