About the role

  • Gather, analyse, and manage customer technical requirements, translating them into practical product or solution recommendations
  • Support the sales team with technical consultation and solution presentations to help secure customer orders
  • Deliver product demonstrations and technical training to customers, enabling faster product adoption and effective usage
  • Diagnose and resolve day-to-day technical issues related to Akuvox products, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Provide ongoing technical support throughout the customer lifecycle, including post-deployment troubleshooting
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term retention and future business expansion
  • Collaborate with internal teams to feedback customer insights and product improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Experience in technical support within smart hardware, security systems, smart home, or communication equipment industries
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to support regional customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure
  • Customer-centric mindset with excellent communication, coordination, and execution capabilities
  • Experience with security or access control products such as smart intercoms, IPC, or access management systems
  • Hands-on experience delivering product presentations or customer technical training
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g. Network Engineering, Hardware Maintenance, or related fields)
  • Proficiency in additional Southeast Asian languages such as Malay or Thai
