About the role

  • Source candidates for federal healthcare and professional services contracts
  • Recruit for positions including: RNs, LPNs, Medical Technicians, Healthcare Administrators, Program Analysts, Administrative Specialists, and IT Support
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for VA, DoD Medical, HHS, and IHS contracts
  • Screen candidates for federal requirements (citizenship, clearance eligibility, credentials)
  • Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Guide candidates through federal onboarding and clearance processes
  • Coordinate with Security Officers on clearance submissions
  • Track candidate status through the 60-180 day federal hiring cycle
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, SCA wage determinations, and agency-specific requirements
  • Maintain accurate records in ATS (applicant tracking system)
  • Provide weekly pipeline reports to leadership
  • Track placement metrics and time-to-fill data

Requirements

  • 2+ years recruiting experience (staffing agency or corporate)
  • Experience with healthcare recruiting OR federal government recruiting
  • Familiarity with USAJOBS, federal hiring processes, or cleared recruiting
  • Proficiency with ATS systems and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment
  • US Citizen (required for federal contract work)
  • Preferred: Direct experience placing candidates on VA, DoD, or HHS contracts
  • Understanding of federal clearance levels and processes
  • Healthcare credentials knowledge (RN licensure, medical certifications)
  • CHCR (Certified Health Care Recruiter) or AIRS certification
