About the role

  • Designing and developing automated API and UI tests using white-box and black-box techniques.
  • Debugging systems, building test frameworks, and automating functional and system testing processes.
  • Enhancing the CI/CD pipeline by developing new automated tests and improving the continuous testing environment.
  • Collaborating with developers to define test criteria, create comprehensive test plans, and build robust automation.
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and debugging new software to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Creating, maintaining, and executing manual tests to replicate real-world scenarios involving complex distributed systems

Requirements

  • Have 3-5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent.
  • Have proficiency in Python test automation with experience in Pytest, Unittest.
  • Have experience in API testing and web services using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Have hands-on experience working with Unix.
  • Be comfortable working with CI/CD tools - Jenkins with scripting capabilities.
  • Have network protocols TCP / HTTP / HTTPS knowledge and familiarity with FIPS testing
  • Have hands-on experience using JavaScript framework like (playwright, webdriver io, protractor)
