About the role
- Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of front-end engineers proficient in enterprise user interfaces written in Angular, React, and Lit
- Providing technical guidance and setting best practices for front-end architecture and UI development
- Partnering with product management, UX/Designers, and other engineering teams to deliver cohesive user experiences
- Having oversight of delivery across the full project lifecycle: organizing, planning, development, testing, and release
- Driving consistency through shared components (Design System experience is a plus), tooling, and engineering standards
- Supporting hiring, onboarding, performance feedback, and career growth for team members
Requirements
- Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, TypeScript and JavaScript
- Have experience with Angular or React
- Possess a clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Source Code Management Systems (we use git)
- Be familiar with software testing concepts including unit, functional, regression continuous integration, and performance testing
- Have prior leadership experience and excellent communication skills and a passion for building inclusive, high-performing engineering teams.
