About the role
- Retain and grow your own customer base across the region (primarily Middle East, Turkey and Africa)
- Own the full account management and cross-sell cycle, collaborating with internal teams, supporting opportunity-generation, technical qualifications and demonstrations
- Articulate the Akamai value proposition to retain and grow stickiness and enthusiasm for Akamai's solutions
- Generate new business through to contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies
- Create and manage a high-value sales pipeline and ensure forecast accuracy adhering to the MEDDICC sales methodology
- Partner with pre-sales to make recommendations for customers to expand the use of Akamai services and solutions
Requirements
- Show proven experience of being persuasive, influential and professional on the phone and email
- Have experience in an Inside Sales prospecting role or customer facing role, ideally within IT.
- Have experience of meeting daily, weekly and monthly targets, and proven consultative sales skills and quota achievement
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholders
- Show some experience with accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Have Professional-level fluency in spoken and written English. Additional proficiency in Arabic and/or Turkish would be an asset.
